About me

Lina Hofrichter

I am Lina (Adeline) Hofrichter, born in Germany in 1983 and happily living in Switzerland since 2009.

As a person with diverse interests – a modern “Renaissance person” – I have always been fascinated by many topics: from nature, which gives me strength and joy, to books that I devour, to my love of science fiction, especially Star Trek.

I feel at home both underwater when diving and in the mountains when hiking or skiing – places where I find peace and inspiration.

But my family is also at the center of my life, and as a patchwork mom, I find happiness and support in our everyday life together.

In my professional life, I have gained many years of international experience, lived abroad and learned to be cosmopolitan. These perspectives not only shape my life, but also my understanding of the diversity of human stories.

The desire to become a freelance speaker arose from my belief that ceremonies should touch people and create a connection with the people they really concern. Whether it's weddings, farewells or welcoming parties - for me, every ceremony is a unique opportunity to celebrate life in all its facets.

I am a member of the Swiss Freethinkers Association and follow basic humanistic values, which for me mean respectful and free interaction with people from all walks of life.

It was through the Freethinkers Association that I eventually received training as a ritual facilitator.

I accompany people through these special moments with empathy, openness and a pinch of humor. I give speeches in standard German or English - and as part of a Swiss-German family, I naturally also understand Swiss German.

My goal is to create ceremonies that are as individual as the people themselves.
