Welcome ceremony

Welcoming a new life is a very special moment. Together we will create an individual and non-denominational welcoming celebration that is full of warmth, joy and meaning - just as unique as your child!

A free welcome ceremony offers a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the beginning of a new life in a personal and warm atmosphere.

It creates space for individual rituals, words and gestures that reflect the values, wishes and uniqueness of the family.

Such celebrations are important because they focus on the joy of new life and strengthen bonds between family and friends – in a way that is completely tailored to the needs and expectations of everyone involved.

Planning process

Introductory conversation

In an initial, non-binding meeting, we get to know each other and discuss your ideas and wishes for the welcome party. This conversation is to find out whether the chemistry is right and whether I can fulfill your expectations for a personal and special ceremony.

Planning discussions

Usually, one or two further meetings take place to discuss the details of the celebration. These include:

  • Process and structure of the celebration

  • selection of personal rituals and symbolic actions

  • Involvement of family members or friends who want to contribute

  • music selection and other creative elements

Planning sessions help tailor the ceremony to your family and the child's personality. They are essential to ensure the celebration is warm, authentic and memorable.

Individual design

Based on our discussions, I will create a tailor-made speech and plan the course of the celebration. Personal stories, your values, wishes and the importance of the child for your family will be taken into account. The course will also be designed in such a way that younger siblings or other children can also be included, which is often requested, especially at welcoming celebrations.

Coordination with stakeholders

If musicians, sponsors or other guests are actively involved in the celebration, I will take over the coordination to ensure that everything runs smoothly.

Implementation of the celebration

On the day of the ceremony, I will be there early to check all the final details and make sure everything is ready. The welcome ceremony itself usually lasts 30 to 45 minutes, depending on the chosen content and rituals. I will lead the ceremony, give the speech and create a moment full of warmth and connection with you.
